About Factory Of Champions
We know that young people are often a product of their environment. The best golfers on
the planet are often the best junior golfers and continue to be the best as they progress
through the age groups. National squads are a place young golfers are exposed to;

Jack Bado, Lead Coach
Personally I have worked for over a decade helping 16 and 17 year olds through to 25 year olds prepare for life as a full time golfer. We have seen huge handicap improvements
and had many success’s. The main goal of creating this program is to start this journey for keen junior golfers earlier and give them every opportunity that the golfers in these photos had.

Our Team
Meet Our Team
Our focus is building a team around each player. Jack and Jay are the two lead coaches in charge of player development, but the whole team is made up of specialists in each area of the game. This is the same way tour professionals work.
Jack has been working at The Golf College for 10 years along side Denis Pugh and founder Paul Lyons. He now leads the coaching and performance development for the 100 students at the golf college. Jack has helped male and female junior golfers achieve national squad selection across 5 different countries, win national amateur championships, play in European / DP tour events and earn full playing rights on tour. Jack has spent the last decade refining the process of helping juniors become the best version of themselves. From developing their mental toughness, to improving their technique and introducing physical training in the gym Jack is an expert in junior development.

The Program
These are the four pillars we believe are important when creating a Factory of Champions. Our goal is to build a solid foundation in these four key areas. We know it takes around 10,000 hours to master a skill…. If the skill is being a work class golfer in the modern game we believe there are four foundation skills you must develop during your 10,000 hours.

Proficient Technique
You must have an underpinning of good technique across the board regarding hitting the golf ball. Long game, short game and putting. We believe consistency of coaching is vital. Once a player gets to 16 years old we don’t want to be making large swing changes when they should be refining their ability to compete with consistent keys.

Mental Toughness
The world number ones in any sport show a mental toughness above the level of their competitors. Introducing our simple form of mental toughness from a young age means their process can be refined as they grow up. By the time they hit 18 their process has been years in the making.

Strength & Conditioning
Despite previous concerns, it is now accepted that children can participate safely in strength training when supervised by qualified personnel. There is a fantastic window of opportunity created by starting at the right time to help junior golfers prevent common injuries
